Cats ‘n’ Racks is pretty much heaven, combining the cuteness of cats in sinks with the ample kitten storage of some particularly endowed women.

PostSecret expands to feline user base

First, some background: PostSecret is “an ongoing community art project in which people mail their secrets anonymously on a homemade postcard”. Updated every Sunday, the project has been a source of great catharsis for an immeasurable number of people. PostSecret began as an art installation in 2004, came online in 2005, and has since been an inspiration to people across the world.

On the other hand, Lolcats (see: 1, 2, 3) is also an ongoing community art project, but not contained on one specific website. Started (arguably) on 4chan in a thread lovingly named “Caturday”, the internet meme has spread and evolved across the internet (e.g., LOLmetal). Lolcats, however, in any form, has never lost its main tenets: unbeatable humor and a lust for life.

Which brings us to LOLsecretz, “the meeting of two of the internet’s most famous memes”. Anyone following the development of PostSecret has undoubtedly thought to themselves that such a project has always been a bit speciesist. Thankfully, the creators of LOLsecretz have taken it upon themselves to do something about it.

A sad confession:

Find more at the LOLsecretz website.

In the ever-loveable tradition of LOLcats comes a new breed of evil: LOLMetal.
