CDs To Review!

Note! This is by no means all of the CDs that need to be reviewed. If there is any CD that you want to review, do it. These are just the promos we got from labels. Once again, if there is any any any any anything you want to review, don't hesitate.

Here is your chance to get into the music reviewing business while discovering some bands you would not have otherwise even heard of, let alone listened to. The following list is some of the many promotional CDs we have received, all of which are in urgent need of a review. If you are interested in reviewing one of the following CDs, here is the process:

1. Choose a CD.
2. Send an email to info@undressmerobot.com letting us know what you want to review.
3. Receive an email back with a link to where you can download the album.
4. Listen to album, write review.
5. Send review to info@undressmerobot.com.
6. Show the published review to all your friends and family. Watch as they are blinded by your internet stardom.
7. Rinse.
8. Repeat.

Understandably, most of these bands are unknown to most people. To assist in choosing a CD to review, a short description of either the album or the artist is included. Eventually, every album will have a description. Until then, please do not think the albums with descriptions are better than the ones without.

New Albums

Abernethy - College Grove - Eleven tracks of folk balladry, touching on poetic, spiritual and indie pop genres. College Grove stradles the playful (The Beach Boys, Bob Dylan, Harry Nilsson) and incantory (Leonard COhen, Judee Sill) like a double-faced moon. http://www.myspace.com/spinninggold

Mum - The Peel Session - The four tracks here (five if you include the amalgamation of the two songs on the opening track) are significantly different versions of songs that will be familiar to fans, yet fresh enough to warrant a widespread release of what amounts to a batch of stand-alone recordings by a young band at a creative peak. http://www.myspace.com/mumtheband
Thee Merry Widows - "Kick-ass all girl psychobilly punk band led by burlesque singer Eva Von Slut. Crampsy/Misfits rock." http://www.myspace.com/theemerrywidowsmusic
