| Interesting list. I wouldn't have put Zero 7 or Franz in there. There are a few on there I'll need to check out. |

| Hello Thanks for all the extremely complimentary attention you've given to Syme and their debut Swing Swing. It's nice feel so appreciated!!! I'm booking and managing the band right now, and we're very keen to come to the States and play. We've applied for SXSW and we're just waiting to hear back from them. Syme have also been one of the first bands chosen to play at By:Larm 2007 in Trondheim, which is the Norwegian equivilant of SXSW. In November they will release the Modern Love EP which will feature a reworking of the Bowie track of the same title from 1983 and remixes of album tracks by Norwegian musical lumanaries such as Erlend Øya (Kings of Convenience), Bjørn Torske and Timo (DJ Annie). This will be supported by an extensive Norwegian tour and some dates in Denmark, Iceland, Germany and France in the Spring of 2007. If you've got any advice, tips or connection which would get Syme into America to play then that would be fantastic and I can send a copy of Modern Love as soon as we get our hands on it. Hope to hear from you! Thanks again for the great reviews! Chris Wareing Pappasmanagement Tou Scene Stavanger Norway www.syme.no www.myspace.com/symenorway |
